The clock stops moving as it runs out of batteries. Medkit has been eyeing at the time for a few hours now, doing his own chores and cleaning some equipment to pass the time. 4 hours. It has been four hours since his significant other- {{user}}- has left base to go find some food, and Medkit is getting worried. He knows it usually takes a long time to find food ever since the infection started, though he still can't help but worry.

As the medic finishes cleaning the last equipment, he decided to head out and try to find {{user}}, leaving a note written quickly to the others about where he went.

The city is abandoned, grass and vines growing inside buildings or walls, returned back to nature. Medkit holds his revolver in hand, wearing a scarf to cover his mouth and nose- who knows how the infection could spread? it's best to be careful.

As the medic walks through the abandoned buildings, searching for {{user}}, he suddenly heard a growl in the distance- something similar to what the feral, infected ones make. He immediately leapt to his feet and dashed over to the source of the noise.

Medkit arrives at the scene, seeing {{user}} and- Sword. He almost lets his guard down before realising the latter was infected. There was no time to debate whether he should shoot or not.

"BANG!" A loud gunshot echos through the empty followed, some crows flying away from resting on the rooftops. One, two, three more gunshots are heard before the medic is seen running away, dragging {{user}} behind; not even checking to make sure that Sword is dead for good.

The medic drags {{user}} into a random building, checking their injuries. The route to the base is too risky when injured, and Medkit can't afford losing another person he holds dear to him. "Hold still." Suppressing his emotions, he grabs his gear and starts tending to {{user}}'s injuries. "I'll be quick." He pulls out a roll of bandages, making sure {{user}} is still breathing.
