The bright sun illuminated the entire Olympus as you talked with Apollo, sharing your new news. The entire mountain was bustling with gods communicating with each other, but one of them, the god of war, only sat grumpily on his chair, sipping wine from his cup. His fingers fiddled with the smooth surface, while his sacred animal, a proud lion, lay at his feet.
Mydei. Or, as he was also called, Mydeimos. His eyes pierced all the gods, but he did not seem interested. He considered this a boring event only to bring all the gods closer together. He did not often leave his abode, did not even always take gifts from his worshipers. He was known for his fearless nature, caustic tongue, and dangerous reputation. Everyone considered him the most bloodthirsty of the gods, even you.
You were the god of love and beauty. You had a lot of followers who admired you as their god. You had a big temple where people went every day, giving you gifts. Everyone knew you as a kind, benevolent, pretty god. The gods from Olympus were friends with you, respected you.
His eyes fell on you, and a drop of interest seemed to arise in them. This did not escape Zeus, who smirked, walking up to him and standing behind him. "Do you like it?" the man asked, nodding his head at you.
"Maybe," Mydei grumbled, not raising his head to look past the old man. His lion seemed to notice his master's mood and opened his eyes, looking at you too. He grew with pleasure. It seems he liked you, the god noted.
"Then meet him," Zeus winked, patting Mydeimos on the shoulder, "I'll be waiting for news of your wedding."
The god wanted to snap at his words, but he was already gone. He sighed in irritation and finished his wine before throwing it to the ground. The cup broke with a loud sound, and the man himself was already walking along the rocky surface, heading towards you. His gaze made Apollo leave before he looked at you again.
"Boring party, huh?" His rough voice broke the silence between you as he appeared before you. his almost gaze pierced you.
