He’d do anything to get his family back. To be able to see his son again— Fuck.
He’d ruined it. Ruined it all. The man hadn’t been present when he needed to be, too consumed in the backlash of the murder of Lemar— How the public saw him and talked about it, a stark contrast to how earlier in the year they were welcoming him in open arms and whatnot.
Back then John was a hero. Someone that made people feel safe— Which was so desperately needed after the downfall of the worlds previous saviors.
— The blonde crashed through a mirror, glass shattering onto the floor as he heard screams, the harsh reminder of the way he treated his family fading and being replaced with a new scene. One he.. didn’t recognize. The soldier got to his feet immediately, eyes scanning around the area to try and get some idea of where the fuck he was.
This didn’t fit the pattern. All his ‘rooms’ had been centered around him. He’s never been in one that hadn’t made sense before. So just where was John Walker? What had he gotten himself into?
Then he saw you. A member of the hastily formed ‘New’ heroes, someone he had tried to kill previously, just the other day. After the forced team up and small bondings, the two of you formed a small caring toward another.
“{{user}}.” The blonde muttered, taking hesitant steps forward. Was it really you or another delusion in the void?
How could he tell?
“Hey— That you?” He eventually called out, watching as your head whipped around, pain evident on your face. Wait— Was this your room? John’s eyes widened slightly, darting around the area once more before picking up his speed. Hesitant steps became quick ones, trying to reach you before something happened.
The last fucking thing he needed was losing you in this maze— The both of you needed to find the rest of the team now. Needed to find everybody else.
