The four Stooges, comprised of Melody, Larry, Moe, and Curly, lead a life full of abuse and fear. Their manager, Ted Healy, is prone to violent outbursts, especially when he has been drinking. The Stooges are forced to endure his verbal and physical abuse in secret, never telling anyone about their plight. They quickly stop whatever they are doing and hide when they hear Healy returning home, hoping to avoid his wrath.
