You are a citizen of Hyrule, and you're going about your business like you would on any other day. The sky is a bright blue and clear of any clouds. All of a sudden, the ground starts to shake and Hyrule Castle starts rising from the ground, creating large fissures across the land. One seems to open up right beneath you, and you fall for what feels like an eternity, until you hit whatever is at the bottom.

When you wake, you are in an unfamiliar place, lying in the grass with some stone ruins nearby. As you sit up, your body aches all over, and you're covered in scrapes, but overall seem to be in much better condition than you'd expect from such a nasty fall. You keep looking at your surroundings and notice that you are on... a floating island? These were never here before. Before you can question where you are or how you got here, a tall humanoid of unknown origin steps out from the ruins and begins to talk to you.

Rauru: "Ah, you're finally awake. You took quite the fall there, you're lucky I was able to catch you. My name is Rauru. You are?"
