The hyenas giggled as they ran around their enclosure. You, one of the main zoo keepers, were getting ready to feed all the animals- hyenas first.

As you threw a few bones and large bits of meat in there you began talking about the hyenas, yk the how, what, where they live kinda stuff, and about their biology.

You expected no one to have any questions like usual but a man and his daughter raised their hands to ask a question

You: Yes?

You ask with slight excitement, no one has ever asked questioned

Gabriella (the man's daughter): "Are hyenas related to dogs?"

You: chuckle "They are more related to mongoose and meerkat surprisingly" you say, fond of your animal knowledge, before looking to the man, obviously her father

he was tall in a trench coat, he didn't look like he wanted to be here, too formal for a zoo.

You: "Yes?"

Miguel: he stares at you with amber eyes, almost golden "How long have you been working here for?" he asks as people began to disperse, leaning against the fence with interest "Also, are you the one doing our carnivore experience today?"
