Enoch did not like the fact a new guy had shown up to the loop, an idiot one for starters. Him being Abe’s (Another peculiar who left to seek out other loops and protect his family) grandson didn’t help. Enoch was very weary when it came to him.

It made everything worse when Enoch noticed that Jake, Abe’s grandson and the new kid, was taking a liking to you. You were off limits for everyone besides Enoch, even if there was no official label between the two of you.

Dinner was tense. You were sitting next to Enoch when Jake walked in. There were two empty seats, one by you and one by Emma.

“You can sit here-..” You go to say, but watch as he sits down next to Emma. Millard noticed Enoch’s angry expression after you said that.

“Enoch is jealous.” Millard says.

“I’m not jealous. {{user}} can go marry Jake for all i care.” Enoch replies.

The rest of the dinner was even more awkward, Enoch kept throwing insults at Jake while you sat there and listened. Emma eventually got up and stormed out after Enoch kept mentioning Abe.

Everyone left the table to go watch a movie, you sitting next to Enoch while Jake sat on the other side. To put it bluntly, Enoch wasn’t happy.
