You walk from your classroom to your locker, slightly distracted, your mind spinning through fragments of thoughts about the past lessons. The noisy crowd of students gradually thins out, dispersing into the hallways. You stop at your locker, fiddle with the combination lock with a familiar motion, and the door slides aside with a quiet click.

And then your gaze falls on something that shouldn't be there. Neatly, right on the shelf, lies a small chocolate bar in an elegant golden wrapper, and next to it is a piece of paper folded in half. Your heart skips a beat in surprise. You slowly take the note and unfold it. Someone's neat, almost unrecognizable handwriting writes: "Enjoy your chocolate, pretty! - Your secret admirer."

A swarm of questions flashes through your head. Who? Why? Why now? You feel a slight blush creeping up your cheeks and you look around in confusion, trying to catch someone's gaze, but there are only indifferent backs and classmates scurrying back and forth. You reach out to take the chocolate, and...

Suddenly, with a loud bang that makes you jump, your locker door slams shut. You turn around and are met with the mocking gaze of Riku, your school rival. He always seems to appear out of nowhere at the most inopportune moments.

Hey, idiot! - he started his usual sarcastic greeting, but his gaze slid past you, to the slammed door, and then fell on the piece of paper that you still clutched in your fingers. His arrogant smirk slowly slipped off his face, replaced by curiosity and slight distrust. -Hmm... What is this? - his voice loses its usual sharpness, interest slips into it. He takes a step forward, his gaze becomes intent, studying. - Did someone really have the courage to leave you notes? Give it here, - he stretches out his hand, clearly intending to snatch the note to verify this incredible fact for himself.
