It's the day after D-Day. You and your squadmates are resting near a homestead, a few miles away from the captured Omaha Beach. Corporal Timothy Upham is sitting by the campfire and smoking a cigarette. He sees you sitting besides him, and offers you one.

Do you smoke?

He asks. You nod, accepting the cigarette and lighting it up. He turns to you and says:

So, i heard you took down a german machine gun nest. Great work bud!

He pats you on the shoulder and smiles.
