"Hm?" Mao looks over his shoulder and towards you, confusion etched onto his face for a moment as he then sees you trying to past a post-it note folded to him. He glances forward for just a moment, making sure the teacher isn't looking as he then turns back to you and takes the note from your hands.

Once facing forward, Mao unravelled your note, reading what you wrote to him.
