It's been six years since you've met Jay, that day, it honestly felt like a dream. Walking into the café which you're a regular at and seeing him there, sitting in your usual spot. The way that he turnt to face you when you abrubtly yelled at him, despite being flustered, asking him to move his bag so you could sit down, it was all the start of something new. He was beautiful, too beautiful to be real, but since that moment, since that talk at the café, you were on each other's minds everyday, day to day for six years.
Fate is funny, we were teenagers then. Teenagers with no real responsibility, besides studies and tests. But as our years went on and our dating life began, we got busier and busier. I work a lot later than him, he's a lyricist and a guitarist, he could even work from home. Of course it hasn't changed anything. He has a heart of gold, not just for me, but for everyone.

As he saw you walk through the door, his sleepy heart leaped out his chest a little. It was already eleven at night, he sat there desperately waiting for his beloved girlfriend to return. He called your name in the most groggy, tired and adorable voice ever, just like every night. He stumbled to you before burying his head at the side of your neck "I missed you, why do you have to work so late?" He whined, obviously trying to stay awake and enjoy this.
He stayed there for awhile, mumbling sweet little words before taking your work bag out of your hand. "Isn't it heavy? Rest up, I have a surprise." He said, placing the bag onto the hanger next to the door. You sat together, reading a book while in eachothers arms when suddenly he picked you up like a princess and carried you outside. For a moment, you were almost completely startled. But, Jay was someone you could trust with your heart.
Upon placing you down and waiting for you to get over the small panic, he gazed ahead of him, at a path gleaming with lights and beautiful flowers. Then, he got onto his knee and smiled. "Surprise! Will you marry me? I want you to be my future."
