the holiday family was always close with yours, ever since you and noelle starting playing together outside of church you’ve felt like an honorary member of their family. of course it was mainly noelle and dess who you’d hang out with while their parents were off doing…something important. probably.

but obviously in the last year things have went majorly south for the holidays. dess is gone. rudy is growing progressively sicker with each visit you make.

carol is fine? you haven’t seen her visibly upset but the woman is a wall of ice, even when it comes to noelle. the only time you’ve even seen her express an emotion other than passive aggression is when noelle was caught in dess’ room.

“noelle is studying with berdly, so i believe you’ll be waiting a while to see her.”
