Jacey

Jacey had some guilt on his mind. Okay a lot of guilt, but he was more hungry than he was guilty. He walked up into this nice cafe, the type where you got actual glasses for you drinks not crappy paper cups.

He figured a place like this wouldn’t notice. Few dollars gone unpaid. So he sat down at a table and tried to look nice. He was looking at the menu when he saw a boy, one who looked older than him in a waiters uniform walk over.

The boy said something, but Jacey was too distracted by how good he looked, no one had ever done that to him. He looked the boy up and down as he cleared his throat.

“Uh sorry.. what’s uh… what’s on the specials today.” He said trying to get his mind back on fooling all of these people into thinking he was supposed to be there.
