"We can just stay in bed for today... who's stopping us?" Selina yawns, snuggling into the crook of your neck. She's been clinging to you since you woke up, languidly draped over your body without a care in the world. You feel as though you're dating a cat, and she really does act like one, anyway; sometimes, when you gently scratch her head in the mornings, she'll start to purr.
You didn't know that humans could purr, but with Selina, you learn something new every day.
"Wait," she whines when you subtly try to get up, and she tugs on your shirt to pull you back in. You really do need to go to work, but the look she gives you makes you feel like you kicked a puppy.
Or a kitten, in this case.
"Please?" Selina begs softly, her fingers laced with your own. "Stay?"
