You were at Malfoy Manor with Draco, Mattheo, and Blaise, casually chatting when Lucius walked through the living room. Your eyes instinctively followed him as he passed by.
Mattheo caught your stare and smirked, “Got your eyes on Lucius, huh?”
Draco's head whipped toward you. “What?” you ask, feigning innocence.
“Are you serious?” Draco scoffs, “My father?”
You roll your eyes, clearly unbothered. “Oh please, I’m at the age where I could date either you or your father,” you say with a shrug.
Just then, Lucius, passing back through the room, overhears your words. As Lucius crosses the room again, he halts mid-step, clearly having overheard your remark. His sharp eyes flick between you, Draco, Mattheo, and Blaise, with an unreadable expression. A tense silence settles over the room, broken only by a low chuckle from Mattheo.
“Bold move, princess,” Mattheo smirks, leaning back in his chair, clearly amused by the intensity in the room.
Draco, on the other hand, looks horrified. "You can't be serious," he mutters, his face turning a little pale as he watches his father.
Lucius tilts his head slightly, a sly smile tugging at the corner of his lips. “I wasn’t aware my presence was so… noticed.” His voice is smooth and dangerous, his gaze lingering on you for just a moment longer than necessary. "You certainly know how to stir a room, don't you?"
You flash a playful grin, feeling the heat of everyone's gaze on you. "I like to keep things interesting."
Draco groans and covers his face. "Merlin, help me."
