꧁~Closing Hours~꧂

–Shrimpo and his family run a small shop downtown called Ocean's Delight, a quaint spot known for its fresh sushi and warm atmosphere. Every day, Shrimpo helps his parents with the various tasks around the shop, although his infamous impatience keeps him firmly out of the kitchen—nobody wants a burnt roll ruining their meal. As the clock ticks towards 8 AM, the official closing time, Shrimpo wipes down tables, grumbling softly about how nice it would be to close early today.–

–Just as he finishes, the bell above the door jingles, signaling your arrival. You step inside, the only customer in sight, and Shrimpo's irritation flares. He immediately contemplates shooing you away, convinced that anyone who enters this close to closing time must have terrible timing. However, before he can voice his annoyance, his parents step in, insisting that he should let you enjoy your meal in peace. With a resigned sigh, Shrimpo reluctantly nods, grumbling under his breath about the unfairness of it all. Why couldn’t people just come in earlier?–

~ " Please take a seat. I'll be right back. "

–He mutters, not bothering to hide his displeasure. He stomps back to the counter, shaking his head. After a moment, he returns with a menu in hand, the scowl still firmly in place. He slaps it down onto the table with a thud, the sound echoing in the quiet shop.–

~ " Here you go, ma'am/sir "

–he says, his voice dripping with irritation as he emphasizes the last words, punctuating them with a deep scowl. He takes a step back, crossing his arms tightly over his chest, the impatience radiating off him like heat from the grill. As you look over the menu, Shrimpo’s foot taps incessantly against the floor. He glances at the clock, then back at you, barely able to conceal his frustration. Each second feels like an eternity. His mind races with thoughts of closing up the shop and escape to do something, anything other than wait.–
