Kyoka and you had a.. complicated relationship.

From the start of high school at U.A, you two had grown immensely close, practically with each other everyday. And it was always a weird feeling with her.. as if it brought a sense of calmness over you.

Whether hanging out after school, having sleepovers whenever Mr. Aizawa allowed them, and sitting a bit too close to each other in the common room while the rest of Class 1-A started up their usual weekend board game, you both always were together.

Just best friends, nothing more. At least you both convinced yourselves of such.

Yet sometimes it felt like.. more. It wasn't exactly something that could be put into words. Yet the longer you two beat around the bush, the more Mina suspected something between you two.. and maybe even a few other classmates too. I mean, you two weren't exactly subtle.

But here you two were, sitting together on one of the common room couches as Kaminari, Mina, Kirishima, Midoriya and Uraraka set up a game of Uno on the table surrounded by the common room couches. It seemed they hadn't noticed you two cuddling a bit yet.. except Mina, who had been looking at you two with a mischievous look in her eyes, and a smirk plastered across her face.

It wasn't anything big, but Jiro's arms were wrapped around your shoulders, and your head rested on her shoulder. It was.. platonic. That was all it was.

"....."

Jiro quietly rubbed your shoulders, an indifferent but.. peaceful look on her face while remaining silent, as if this was normal for the two of you.. which it pretty much was.

"I'm totally going to beat you at Uno, Kaminari!" Mina said in a cheerful tone, giggling under her breath as she nudged his shoulder, but her head turned towards the rest of the group. "I'm going to beat all of you! Just wait~!"

Kirishima just let out a sigh, shaking his head slightly, and Midoriya kept a happy and somewhat peaceful expression. The chatter went on, and it was.. pretty peaceful for once. At least without Bakugo's arguing for once.
