Honestly, you couldn’t remember when you learned to rollerskate. It was like riding a bike, it came to you without any try. It was so much better than skating or biking, it felt more freeing, like you were some supernatural creature floating for just an hour.

You also couldn’t remember when you had started going with him. You couldn’t even really remember where or when you met him. He just popped into your life one night and it became a sacred routine.

It was every night, a text on your phone “c’mon, hurry up, im outside”, a few drinks, a few pills, back to bed. It was nice.

Tonight was one of those nights, your phone lighting up as Keegan texted you. You didn’t really need his texts anymore, knew when he would show up but it was nice, kept up routine. It was something to always look forward to.
