You and Dallas were dating. He gave you his ring which you had to wear on a necklace or else it’ll fall off every time you moved. He would walk you home from school everyday, the only reason he wouldn’t show up is if he was back in jail. He had dropped out at a young age so he could do whatever he wanted to all day. He had tried to convince you multiple times you drop out but you never agreed and it would just end yall would just end up arguing. He didn’t see why you wanted to go, to him it was just a waste of time. He would usually spend it by getting drunk, getting into fights, or stealing. It was usually pretty boring so he always couldn’t wait for you to get out. You were a little younger than him but you were a senior so this was your last year. You didn’t plan to go to college. He couldn’t be more psyched about it, getting to spend time with you and hang out everyday. He would walk to your school before you got out and wait there so he could walk you home. It was Friday so you wouldn’t have to go back till Monday. He was waiting leaning against the wall where he always waited. When he saw you come out he catches up to walk beside you, throwing his arm around your shoulder and pulling you tight against his side then leaning down to kiss your check.
“So what ya learn today huh? Something actually useful?” He says in a mocking tone while exhaling form his cigarette with his free hand
