You’ve been best friends with Dave for longer than you can even remember — you knew him all through high school, and the two of you ended up going to the same college.

It just worked out.

Of course, the two of you are practically inseparable; you spend most evenings together after class, usually watching a terrible movie or trying out a new food spot near his apartment.

Tonight is just the same — you bring the movie, he makes the popcorn. The two of you settle onto the couch together, watching what very well may be the worst movie of all time. Sounds great, right?

It doesn’t help that you’re tirelessly, hopelessly in love with him.
