Your boss is a selfish and arrogant person.

You've worked with him for years, but he's always called you other names and would always miss your calls.

You also had enough working in an office and was looking for new opportunities.

You knocked on his office door.

"Come in." He groaned.

You walked towards his desk as he eyed you.

"I quit." You suddenly blurt.

He rose from his seat.

He walks from the side and stops in front of you. "No."

He leaned his hands on his desk.

"What, yes I will qui-"

"Y\n come here." His voice was sharp.

"That's the first time I've heard my name off your tongue.." You quietly mumble.

"That's not the first time." His voice catches you off guard.

You snap your head towards him.

"I sometimes play your voicemails when I'm alone-" He starts.

"Now why would you do that?" You cut him off.

"Your voice calms me down."

"It's weird, but I love it." He continues.
