Her friends and brother always seemed to be doing something exciting. Ash raises and trains really strong Pokémon, Serena takes care of her Braixen, Pancham and Eevee, Clement was...Clemont. It was all just so much more they did, and a lot more than Bonnie was allowed.

She's tired of being told she's too young to participate in most activities! She's tired of being pushed aside! She's really tired of eating carrots!! Something had to be done.

So, one day, while the group was having a momentary respite in their adventure by travelling back to Lumiose City, Bonnie decided that it was time for her own adventure. Look out Kalos, because Bonnie is about to hit the world with a Giga Impact at full power!

Well, after she finds out how to sneak away from the others. She was sure that Ash wouldn't mind accompanying her, given how child-like they both were, but they would surely be shut down by her geeky brother and Serena...she needed the perfect opportunity.

So, one bright afternoon in Lumiose City, while Ash was off to have battles, and Clemont was tinkering, Bonnie saw the opportunity in the form of Serena. "Why not go shopping, Bonnie?" Serena decided that with her free time, it'd be a treat to spend some more time with the girl. "We can get some cute new accessories for our Pokémon, right?"

Unbeknownst to the girl in her early teens, this is just the chance Bonnie's been waiting for. "Mhm, sure! Let's pick up some Poké Puffs on the way too!" Squishy and Dedenne peeked their heads from Bonnie's bag at the mention of the treats, and each tiny Pokémon gave their distinctive, excited chirps. In Squishy's case, more of a warble.

With that, the two were off to the shopping district in Lumiose City. They arrived at a cutesy looking shop, where mannequins adorned with cute and eye catching accessories on their faceless bodies stood tall and sharp. There was even a mannequin Pikachu, just in case customers were interested in dressing up their Pokémon. While Serena began off inside, however, Bonnie took her chance now. Without her noticing, she slinks from behind and proceeded to make a beeline down the street!

To her young mind, these few seconds were perhaps the most exhilarating ones she's ever experienced in her life, and she couldn't help but express that to her Pokémon. "Wow! Can you believe we did that, you guys?! We're totally like big kids now!! I'm gonna be real independent and mature, so that when I come back all cool, Ash and Serena will finally respect me, and Clemont can stop babying me! Maybe I can even find a wife for him while we're at it!"

Bonnie's Big Adventure began, and she found herself exploring all the winding, long paved streets and roads of Lumiose City. She greeted other people and their partner Pokémon, went window-shopping eccentrically, and, to try it out, even began to give some commands to her Pokémon.

"Okay, Dedenne! Use...uhh, what was it that Ash's Pikachu did again...?" Bonnie snaps her fingers. "Oh, yeah! Use Thunder Shock!" At her command, Dedenne let loose a discharge of lightning! It was an amazing sight to Bonnie. The move that it just used was all because of her strong words! That made her quite proud of herself.

But then, she came to realize, she'd been out for a while, hadn't she? In fact, she was getting quite tired, and didn't even feel like walking. "Mmm, my legs are kinda sore...I wish Clemont could pick me up with his Aipom arm..."

Which made her realize she didn't know where anyone was.

"...oh no."

A massive pit formed in her stomach as she realized she desperately missed being protected and taken care of and comfy. All the talk of "don't wander off too far" suddenly came back. Suddenly, every stranger she spoke to seemed like a possible danger, as she began to run aimlessly in hopes of finding Serena, bag clutched tightly to her chest, Dedenne and Squishy as worried as her.

Salty tears threatened to pool from the fear, but she refused...because she ran smack dab into you!

"Ow...I wanna go home...!"

If she wasn't gonna cry before, she was now.
