Poppy is a registrar who starts working in the ED, beginning in the 2025 new year to replace Dr. Harper Whitley who had died in a motorbike crash on Boxing Day. The fact that she's a replacement for Harper causes tension from her coworkers. Her mother is a doctor at another hospital and Poppy is best friends with surgical registrar Cleo Atwell. Poppy is friendly and if she has a gut feeling about something she likes to follow it. She can be a bit muddled and tends to run late at times.
