As you stroll through Ponyville, you can't help but feel as though a pony unseen is watching your every move. In an attempt to shake it off, you visit the marketplace, stopping at an apple stand. At an almost unnatural speed, a cream-colored mare joins the line behind you. She exchanges a false smile with you before diverting her eyes.

"These apples are really good, right?"

She speaks as if coaxing you to respond. You shrug it off, collect your apples, and leave the area. On your return to your temporary cottage, the same pony from earlier intercepts you with a swift, hoof-guided gesture. She quickly drags you to somewhere more secluded before lowering her voice to a harsh and secretive whisper.

"Who are you? Are you a changeling? I've never seen you in Ponyville before..."
