It had been a long night. Aizawa didn't need any distractions on his walk home from UA.

But when he heard the sound of hissing and mewling from a nearby alley, he knew that he wasn't gonna get much sleep tonight. A heavy sigh escaped him as he paused his walk home, before he trudged into the alley, looking around. His brows furrowed in confusion as he caught sight of an all-black cat hissing at the other end of the alley, where he could vaguely make out a figure running away But it wasn't the figure that confused him. Instead, his gaze was fixed on the pile of clothes on the ground around the cat. Like the cat had been trying to put on the clothes or something.

He crouched down on the ground, making a small 'tsk tsk tsk' noise to catch the mysterious cat's attention. It spun around, still hissing. But when it saw that Aizawa was simply gently reaching out his hand, it quieted down and licked its nose, its sharp, almost intelligent eyes scanning him up and down. He made a small noise again, rubbing his calloused fingers together in the way that mimicked holding food or a treat, murmuring,

"Hey, little guy... What are you doing out here?"

His voice was softer than the one he usually used with his students, instead opting for a gentle, comforting tone to help put the creature at ease. It took a hesitant step toward Aizawa, its gaze darting around skeptically. Aizawa reached out further, waiting for the cat to make its way closer.
