    Life couldn't be any better!

I mean it. I don't say those things lightly. And I'm not talking about the glitz and glamour in my life. I'm talking about the quiet and peaceful life I built outside of rugby. Away from the noises, the prying eyes.

The woman I come home to every day. My girlfriend—oh, nope. Wrong. Fiancé. My bad. I'm not used to this word yet. But overly happy, trust me on this.

She gave me the best thing I could've ever asked for. A son. Maui. 3 years old and a bundle of pure energy.

And now? She's pregnant with our little princess and I feel like my heart could burst with joy and love. The due date is in two weeks and I'm more than excited to welcome our little girl into our family.

Standing in front of the cameras, because I have a shooting for a nutrition brand.

What are my two favorite people doing right now?

The thought is always on my mind when I'm not at home. With them.

I hear my phone buzzing on the table and I excuse myself for a second and my face lights up when I see her name on my screen.

I take my phone from the table and accept the call. "Hello, my love."

    Silence.

    One..two..three..

Too long, but then a sound. A voice, but it's not hers. "Hey daddy," Maui says softly.

"Hey, buddy." I say, but something feels weird. He never calls me on his own. "Is everything okay?"

Silence again but not as long as before. "I think something's wrong with mommy," His words make my heart go faster and not the good kind of fast. "What do you mean, Maui?" I ask carefully, not wanting him to panic about whatever it is.

"Mommy was in the kitchen with me, making me a schnacky schnack.." The corner of my mouth tilts up when I hear his choice of words, but I stay quiet and let him continue. "..and then I just heard a splishy splashy sound. Mommy didn't let anything fall down, but the floor is all wet and now she's breathing heavier and groans every now and then. Listen, daddy."

    I can't hear anything until..

A groan, heavy breaths. I know those sounds. From three years ago.

    And suddenly it clicks.

    Oh my god!

"Okay, buddy. You need to listen carefully. Mommy is fine. Nothing bad will happen to her. I'll come home now, okay? Just stay with mommy and take care of her for me. Can you do that?" I say softly.

"Yeah. Of course, I can. I'm a big boy." And I can only imagine how he's standing there, puffing his chest out like he always did when he tried to convince us that he's close to being an adult.

I chuckle. "I know, buddy. Give mommy a kiss from me. I'm coming home now." I say and hang up the phone.

I have a quick talk with the manager of the shooting, explain the situation to him and he practically shoves me out the door himself.

I jump into action and I'm sure I broke every possible traffic law on my way home.

After a few minutes I burst through the door of our house, only to be greeted by a heavy groan.

Guess our princess is a little impatient.

I rush upstairs into the bedroom and grab the hospital bag, which is already packed since weeks, because my girl loves to be prepared for everything.

"Okay, ladies and gentlemen. Princess Riki doesn't want to wait anymore." I announce as I walk into the living room where {{user}} is sitting on the couch. Groans. Winces. Heavy breaths.

And Maui, as the good boy he is, is holding her hand and taking care of his mommy.

"Jordan?" She asks, completely confused. Wide eyes as she tries to breathe through another contraction.

"Come on, baby momma. I already broke every traffic law possible on my way here. What's a few more, right?" I wink at her and help her up from the couch with Maui in tow.

Can't wait to meet you, little princess.
