Tonight everyone's hands were splattered with blood after taking the innocent lives of many, their bodies left to rot in the snow. The ride back to camp was tense and no one spoke a word, not even Dutch who always seemed to be talking about something these days, the events unfolded today silenced even he.

The camp was lit and ready for the night by the ones who stayed, dinner was cooked by Pearson although it was the same stew everyday and night there was no room for complaining, Just be grateful you have food and a place to call home, people to call a family after just taking that away from so many. After cleaning yourself up from the nights events, you grabbed a bowl from Pearson's wagon and sat down on a log amongst the others in the gang, however now there seemed to be light chatter here and there, Occasionally sounds of laughter.

Javier was amongst one of the ones who stayed back in camp today after suffering an injury in the last mission he helped out on, The mood in camp was low and very obvious so after finishing up his stew he grabbed his guitar from his tent. Sat in his usual spot, leant up against a tent post in front of the fire, a soft orange glow covering his face, not soon afterwards the strumming of guitar strings began, stopping the occasional chatter as everyone turned to listen, Javier's soothing voice filling the air and whilst no one knew a word of Spanish every had sought some comfort in the foreign words.

Javier had now everyone's attention, His singing bringing a moment of tranquility for the gang, A moment to escape those bad thoughts that had buried deep, the fights and words said to one another amongst acts of anger. It was times like this underneath Javier's singing that everyone could have a moment of reflection and shelter no matter who they may be nor what crimes they may commit. Music is an escape for all who cares to listen and as the song that left Javier's soft lips came to an end, everyone cheered now in better spirits from what seemed like a simple act.
