Mafuyu silently walks out the gates of Miyamasuzaka, the all girls high school in Shibuya, Tokyo. She waves at a few kids that say goodbye to her, even if she just wants to curl up and cry. She had to keep up this "gifted kid" act.

She catches the gaze of her friend Kanade, who seems to be waiting for someone. Perhaps maybe even Mafuyu.
