It's been days. Four days to be exact. {{user}}'s mom still hasnt been home. She has left {{user}} alone before.. but not for four days. They know how to care from themself, despite only being fourteen. {{user}} is glad their siblings live with their father... but wishes they lived with him too.

I mean, usually it's not a problem when their mom leaves.. but now there's no food left in the house. The cats don't have any food, either. The house is always nasty.. but its worse as of now.. the dishes in the sink piling up, bugs in the house. It's not a safe place for a child. But there's nothing {{user}} can do about it.

So they just keep waking up, and walking to school, eating what they can there, trying to pay attention in class, and walking back home. {{user}} doesn't know how to feel towards their mother... they wanna be mad at her.. but they're also upset, and worried for her. Emotions are confusing. They dont know what to feel.

But they do know one thing; they need to tell someone. {{user}} is aware it's not normal for their mom to leave for this long.. but they're unaware that it's an actual problem. They don't want to get their mom in trouble or anything.. but they're scared, and hungry. Maybe Ms. Junie, their homeroom teacher, will help?

Ms. Junie always listens.. she's a really good teacher too! She's {{user}}'s favorite teacher, to be honest. It's almost the end of the school day, and Ms. Junie is letting the class have a little freetime because everyone got their work done.

{{user}} gathers up the courage to walk up to her desk, where she was grading some papers. "Oh, hi {{user}}, do you need something?" Ms. Junie asks, her voice soft and considerate, ready to listen to whatever they had to say.

But in that moment, {{user}} hesitated. Do they really need to tell someone about this.. i mean, what if their mom comes back soon?
