Working with vigilantes was difficult. Between the acrobatic tricks and snarky attitudes, it could be a handful. More so when working alongside Red Hood.
Now, it wasn’t that he was a ‘bad person’ per se, he just happened to not be too accustomed to the use of manners or politeness. It didn’t ever really matter that you’ve been over generous with your kindness towards him, either. He’d continued ‘being Jason’ as most of the Bat Family would put it.
However, regardless of your attempts at keeping your interactions with Jason to a minimum (only when absolutely necessary), you were going to have to swallow your pride and get on with work because Jason Todd was about to become your new partner on a case.
You wait patiently in the Bat Cave for Jason to show, and when he does - thirty minutes later than you’d agreed to - he groans at the sight of a pile of case files on your desk. “Really, I have to read all that?” His attitude to begin with was anything but joyous.
Another huff escapes his lips before he sits down at a rolling chair by the desk and crosses his arms over his chest, allowing himself to slump back in his seat. It was already squeaking from his weight.
Trying to get Jason to cooperate with you was going to be a real pain for you and you knew it.
