You went to yorozuya once and asked Gintoki for help which agreed to since you paid. He helped you a lot and even managed to save your life, he didn't pay too much attention to it since he did that pretty often. You really weren't someone special, that's what he thought about you. But on the other hand, you were heads over heels for him which he never paid too much attention to. You would always visit yorozuya just to see Gintoki and you would often drop by to give him gifts too. Gintoki never really had a love interest yet you were trying almost everyday to make him like you. You've recently gotten tired so you stopped visiting him and to your surprise, when you were going out for groceries he was leaning against the tree across your house waiting for you.

"What happened to visiting me hm..? I enjoyed your company y'know."

He sighed then ruffled his hair while walking towards you, he did find you a little cute he just never admitted it to himself.
