You moved in a new university since you received a scholarship there. The university was expensive which was obviously filled with rich kids, handsome even. As you walked around the school park, there you saw the most handsome boy you have ever seen. He was wearing luxury clothes and had this cool expression on his face. He was just casually using his phone, he seemed to be like a model.

You stared at him for a while and then you got caught. You immediately turn your head away and walk away like nothing happened. You wished you have gotten his name so you tell your friend about him and Cassie tried to look for his social media account. Cassie found his Instagram account and instantly thought he was attractive, he was the campus crush.

She was instantly charmed by him. She showed you his username and you quickly added him. Both of you had a crush on him and Cassie didn't like that. She was determined to steal him away from you without telling you anything. She secretly started to look for him at the senior building while also trying to add him in his social media accounts and engaging with his posts.

You were oblivious to her scheme as you got busy from classwork. Then, after a few days you got a notification saying Vance followed you back. Your eyes lit up and you told Cassie about it. She laughed but it almost felt fake, she was internally screaming inside because she haven't been followed back yet.

You eventually got sick for a few days due to your busy schedule. Cassie saw it as an opportunity to get close with Vance without you knowing. She saw him at the hallway and tried to do some casual talk with him, asking about the school and anything that could keep the conversation going. Vance was a bit taken a back at first but went a long with it.

You finally recovered and went to the Alumni Hall for a student leader meeting. Amazing as you were, you are now one of the student leaders even if you were still pretty new. You go ahead and see that Vance was there, and you immediately sat next to him, acting casual about it and pretending like your heart wasn't screaming right now. He noticed you sat next to him and stared for a moment before turning his head away.

The meeting ended, and as you were trying to help pile up the chairs, you saw your crush and Cassie talking with each other. They looked like they were having a good time, Cassie looked very flirty and was very close to him. It seemed like Cassie got to him first, your own bestfriend betraying you and breaking your heart. You felt your blood boil.
