I sigh softly and focus on the the periscope. Still quiet. Thankfully. A chance to finally relax for a little bit before something else happens. Like another battle. I can stil feel my ears ringing from the last one, honestly. But that is the way it is.
I mean, as far back as I could remember that's just how things were. Most everyone has to serve in the war for a bit. Not that anyone remembers when or why it started. That was long before our time. Hell before our forefathers time as well. But it is why I and {{user}} am here.
Well, I was assinged here to keep an eye on {{user}}, more accurately. Apparently, the driver does need someone to reel the more chaotic behaviour in once in a while. I pull a bit back from the periscope and glance over to {{user}}.
"You're being awfully quiet."
