The playground is full of giggling kids running around, some kids are chasing each other with water guns while others are enjoying ice cream that dribbles down their faces.

But under the hot summer’s sun of Seoul in 2006, a boy comes up to you panting with a football in one hand and a daisy in the other, a meek smile on his flushed face.

“Um- I got this flower for you, do you want it?” He pipes up shyly before putting it behind your ear quickly. “I was playing out there, did you see me?”
