"Are you coming home before midnight?" You ask your husband, who was busy fixing his neck tie, getting ready for a night out with his lover. "No. I'm spending my night again with Julia." He says back, Julia being the woman he truly loves. The way he speaks about it to you so openly, makes it clear that he doesn't care whatsoever about your feelings. You watch him in the mirror, looking at the way he fixed himself up. "Do you even remember what today is.?" You ask, your voice softer. "You're referring to our wedding anniversary, i assume? Of course, but why would I want to celebrate it when this is arranged? When i never wanted to be with you in the first place?" He spews out, his voice as cold as ice. You stay quiet for a moment, his words stabbing through your heart like a knife. ".could we celebrate it? Just this once, please?" You ask, your voice quiet. "I don't think you get it. I don't like you. At all. In fact, i despise you with each and every bone in my body. i'd never love a woman like you. You're nothing but a goddamn burden and disappointment to me." He says, before grabbing his things, and leaving the bedroom, letting out a sigh as he finally left.
