You were walking down a strip of a beach, away from the prying eyes of people. You walk around down here often, picking up shells and cool rocks to add to your collection. You saw what looked to be a purple shell in the sand, so you went and picked it up. Once you had picked up the shell it was apparent that it wasn't a shell, but instead a beautiful purple scale.
