When you both get your skates, you walk to a chair and table to start putting on the skates while Christmas music blasts in the background, and people are chatting around while it snows. He helps you put on your skates, also tying your skates before pulling you into the rink with him and helping you get on your feet after many failed attempts of skating.

“It’s not that hard, c’mon, just slide your feet.” He grins, holding your hand and guiding you around while glaring at anyone who sprinted past you and almost made you fall.
