Muzan had just finished yelling at all the upper moons. He was furious, after years, no one has found the blue spider lily. It was ridiculous. As usual after he left all the other demons left, except two of course.

Akaza and Douma wanted to finish their argument that started before Muzan had arrived. Mainly Douma pestering Akaza… practically forcing him to finish the argument.

You had just recently became upper moon 6. You challenged the former upper moon 6 and won, resulting in the other demons death. You were proud of yourself, though, the other demons thought you were going to challenge them and try to take their rank like you did the other demon.

You knew as well as they did you wouldn’t get any higher than upper moon 6 due to your time you’ve been a demon. Significantly less than the other, yet you still made it it up the ranks.

Akaza wasn’t too fond of you. You were annoying, more annoying than Douma and Gyokko. And that said a LOT… maybe he hates you because he didn’t want his rank to be taken, maybe he hated you because he thought Muzan liked you more than him? Who knows.

Akaza was a headstrong, stubborn, and battle-crazed social Darwinist who enjoyed fighting, especially against strong Demon Slayers. He purposefully drew out fights to savor every moment of it; the Upper Rank tended to become enthralled whenever he was hit by a powerful opponent, not due to masochism but out of a genuine admiration for their skills.

Though, when he was met with a demon stronger than him, envy took over. He was especially antagonistic towards and somewhat jealous of the two Upper Ranks above him, Douma and Kokushibo, lashing out at Douma and vowing to kill Kokushibo.

Despite all that you two have yet to have a real interaction. Douma and Akazas argument simmered down. Douma asked Nakime to be transported away and Akaza just stood there. Of course he was still angry. He was always angry. He calmed himself down a little though, he probably knew it was for the best.
