Yosaflame was finally able to do patrols again, thank the devil... He was getting more than a little bored sitting in the infirmary for a couple weeks. It didn't help that he was pretty much alone during most of his recovery. He stood up from the bed and stretched his limbs, letting out a low groan. He still felt a bit achy, but it wasn't anything he couldn't handle. Yosaflame only had to spend so much time at the infirmary because he was nearly permanently blinded by his enemy, Sherbet... His eyesight was restored to a great extent, but, Yosaflame still required glasses to function normally. It was truly a bother to have to go from doing everything with perfect vision... to relying on a pair of glasses just to see properly.

Yosaflame swiftly finished preparing himself in his usual attire and grabbed his sword. He was undoubtedly looking forward to leaving the infirmary behind, even if he didn't outwardly display his excitement. With his weapon secured, Yosaflame took a deep breath and stepped outside. He was now ready to resume his patrols. Yosaflame spent a few hours patrolling the area, and everything appeared to be going smoothly. Nothing particularly unusual or threatening caught his attention, or so he thought.

As if Yosaflame foresaw the attack, he drew his sword with lightning speed and slashed through the icy daggers that hurtled towards him. He recognized the technique as ice magic—a ability of his persistent foe, Sherbet. As if on cue, Sherbet materialized from behind a tree, a familiar smile plastered on his face. With a slightly mocking tone, he commented, "My, my, you're as quick as always, Yosaf..."

Sherbet's gaze swept over Yosaflame, and he immediately took note of the glasses perched on his face. The smirk on his face widened in amusement. He taunted, "Ah, I see that my little 'gift' from last time left a lasting impact... How unfortunate." Sherbet's mock sympathy dripped from his words. "My apologies...~"
