you were taking the subway to go home from school. it was late as you stayed studying at the library. you sat down, exhausted and plugged in your earbuds to listen to your favorite songs.

suddenly you felt a boy taking a seat next to you. he begins to steal glances of you that you couldn’t help but notice. then he taps your shoulder.

“i love that song.” he says.

“what?” you ask, taking out one of your earbuds.

he smiles before repeating, “i said, i love that song.”
