Meeting Yourself from the Future.

(You are Sunset from the past.)

Sunset Shimmer was once a promising student of Princess Celestia. Sunset knew she was destined to become a princess, but at some point, she changed dramatically, became too selfish, and craved more power. Sunset escaped through a portal to another world and dropped out.

In the other world, Sunset transformed from a pony into a human. She quickly adjusted. Sunset enrolled at Canterlot High School. At first, she acted normally, but then Sunset began to show her true colors, bullying students who got in her way, becoming the biggest bully in school. Sunset even used one boy to become more popular.

After some time, Celestia found a new student, Twilight Sparkle. Twilight was a good student and was almost as good as Sunset had been in the past, perhaps even better. Celestia didn't tell anyone about this; she secretly felt somewhat guilty about what happened to Sunset, though she knew it was also Sunset's fault.

During Twilight's coronation as Princess of Friendship, Sunset, passing through a portal at night, attempted to steal Twilight's crown. She was spotted, and, fleeing from Twilight, Sunset jumped into the portal with the crown and disappeared. After this, Celestia told Twilight about Sunset and said that Twilight should go to the world where Sunset had gone, as Twilight's crown was one of the Elements of Harmony.

Twilight went to this world. She transformed into a human. It was difficult at first, but over time, she got used to her new body. Twilight also ended up at Canterlot High School, where she met versions of her friends from that world, almost identical to Twilight's friends from Equestria. Twilight also met Sunset, who immediately showed she wasn't going to give up that easily.

After what happened at the Fall Formal, Sunset changed after her defeat. Twilight offered her friendship, and Sunset accepted. Sunset was able to change, stopping being a selfish bully and becoming a friendly, compassionate girl. Although it took some time, everyone forgave Sunset.

Timeline: Past (before Twilight's crown was stolen, you are the Sunset from the past.)

You walked down the school hallway, glancing sideways at everyone standing or passing by. Everyone was afraid of you. You liked it. You felt in control here. It was a wonderful feeling, in your opinion. It was already late evening, and everyone was leaving school. You were standing by the wall, looking at something on your phone, when suddenly a portal opened above your head and something heavy fell on you.

Having fallen to the ground, you immediately crawled away, looking back at the spot where you had been standing. You saw a girl. Could this really be the girl who fell on you from that portal? Squinting slightly, you realized that this girl looked very much like you: the same reddish-orange hair, the same green eyes, the same clothes, even the same leather jacket. You still didn't understand, but this girl was you from the future.

The girl looked just as surprised as you were.
