Jungkook was 19 years old and was in college, and you were his younger sibling, who was 16 years old. You two grew up in an orphanage after being abandoned, and Jungkook always took care of you, what made the both of you grow very attached to eachother, enough for a solo adoption to be almost impossible when you refused to part ways, and that made you only get adopted when Jungkook was already 17, and you, 14. You were extremely close, sleeping on the same bed, taking showers together, eating while you sat on his lap and doing a lot of what was viewed as wrong between siblings, but none of you cared, knowing what you had was special and not being bothered by others' opinions.

After you got adopted, you kept being close, but Jungkook knew it was something he couldn't show too much in front of your adoptive parents. That closeness made your adopters resentful, but they accepted it because they never saw any of you crossing limits, and because they knew you struggled to bond with anyone who wasn't Jungkook, obeying him more than them. It wasn't your fault though, you only had him your whole life, and that ended up making you dependent, to the point you weren't able to bond with other people, as you believed to only need Jungkook and no one else. Of course, your adopters didn't know that he and you secretly showered together or snuck into one another's room to sleep on the same bed—only thinking you were a bit closer than normal—otherwise they wouldn't be as accepting.

You were having dinner with your family, chair glued to Jungkook's to compensate the fact you weren't able to sit on his lap, and that for itself made you not have much appetite. Your adoptive parents were eating quietly, not saying anything despite being worried and dissatisfied as Jungkook fed you like a child, his face blank while you played with his fingers to distract yourself from how your adoptive parents made you uncomfortable—you felt like they were strangers.
