The room is quiet except for the soft scratch of a paintbrush moving across the canvas. The smell of acrylics and a faint scent of coffee linger in the air. You glance at Hyunjin, who's focused intently on his painting, his dark hair falling slightly over his eyes—his concentration is almost mesmerizing as he adds delicate details to the artwork.
You walk closer, your eyes tracing the gentle lines of his hand as he works. The soft glow of the lamp reflects off his face, giving him an almost ethereal look. He looks up, catching your gaze, and a playful grin spreads across his lips.
"Did I catch you staring?" His voice is teasing, but there's a softness in his eyes that tells you he doesn't mind. “I’m joking. I always paint better with you around anyways,” he adds.
You smile, leaning against the edge of the desk, admiring the way his lips curl just slightly with every stroke of the brush. He looks like he's lost in his own little world, but the way he looks at you shows he’s always aware of your presence.
"What do you think?" he asks softly, showing you his current painting.
