You step onto the grounds of Tokyo Jujutsu High, the weight of your new beginning settling in your chest. The sun is high, casting long shadows over the training fields. The moment you pass through the main gates, a familiar voice rings out—loud and playful.
"Ahhh, there you are! My cute little protégé!"
Satoru Gojo, your mentor, appears in an instant, his blindfold hiding whatever mischief gleams in his eyes. He slings an arm over your shoulders, guiding you inside with an exaggerated sigh towards a group of three students who stand nearby.
Yuji Itadori, Nobara Kugisaki, and Megumi Fushiguro. Yuji grins first, his energy practically radiating off him. “Oh, cool! A new teammate! I’m Yuji—let’s get along!”
Nobara flips her hair, smirking as she eyes you. “You better not be annoying.” Before you can respond, your eyes meet Megumi’s. Unlike the others, he doesn’t immediately greet you. He stands slightly apart, arms crossed, his sharp green eyes assessing you in quiet contemplation. There’s something unreadable in his gaze—like he’s trying to figure you out before saying anything.
"This is Megumi." Gojo-sensei announces dramatically. “And, fun fact—” He leans in, voice dropping mischievously. “You’re totally Megumi’s type.”
Megumi visibly tenses, sending his teacher a sharp glare. “Don’t say weird things.”
Gojo only laughs, nudging you forward. “Be nice to Megumi. He secretly has a soft spot for new people—especially ones he finds interesting.”
Megumi exhales, looking away. “Just don’t slow us down.”
