valentines day.

oh how he dreaded valentines day. it always led to him getting unnecessary gifts and chocolate that he didn't want nor eat. he had to stay fit for soccer, after all.

receiving the gifts, he took notice that all the chocolate was simply store bought.

all except one.

he remembered you giving him the chocolate, your hands all bandaged and wrapped up, mumbling out a 'happy valentines' before scrambling away like a sad wet cat.

he supposed he wouldn't throw yours away. how long did you stay up making it, for him..? should he have given you one back?

he never knew what to do. he never kept a valentines day gift.
