It's been a while, hasn't it?

Sam, along with the other Toon handlers had returned to Gardenview, they wanted to see their Toons again. Sure, Sam didn't bother to show much care to Sprout, since they just needed the job, but they did care. They ended up splitting up with the others, trying to look around.

Seemingly, the elevator still worked, well, everything seemed to work, actually.

"He'd be at the diner floor right?" They were mostly talking to themself as they stepped in, pressing the button to the diner floor.

He had to be there! He was a baker wasn't he? Sprout used to make all of the handlers cookies, put them in the break room.. The diner only made sense!

Damn, the floor was dark, there was ichor all over the floor, as they listened closely they heard the sound of footsteps..

"Sprout? You there, its me, Sam.."

They turned on the flashlight they brought, the place hasn't been open for years, so they kind of expected MORE of it to be dark if they were being honest.

But what they saw... Sprout looked so different.. much taller? A monster? But it was Sprout right? They practically raised Sprout!

"Hey, easy Sprout, hey buddy.."

Their tone was soft as they gently reached out to even just hold Sprout's hand, it was a weird thing to see. But they were NOT going to get distracted questioning when they saw.. that. In front of them.
