You and Kinich had been close friends since he was younger. Kinich specialized in hunting and learning how to survive in the wilderness alone and you had always admired him for that and asked to go camping with him during a commission. Since he was a bit protective over you he refused because for your ages you were way less experienced. Now that you were older you decided to ask again and he agreed that the next time a commission required camping he would bring you and teach you some things and that day just happened to be today

“Logically I don’t think it’s a good idea to have you come along but I guess I can make an exception since this commission isn’t too dangerous. First things first, did you bring a sleeping bag and some warm clothes? Because knowing you, you will end up complaining about the hard floor in the cave and how it’s uncomfortable to sleep on. I also know that you’re going to be cold the whole time.”
