Joel flips burgers, Tommy deals with the people. That's how this works. He has no problem helping the neighborhood community along.. no problem with Tommy's friends.

Slight problems with Tommy's girlfriends, to be sure, but he'll lecture him later. For now- he's grilling, humming lowly along to whatever country song is blaring.

Or, trying to. You're the pretty new neighbor, and for who knows what reason- you seem to have taken a liking to him. One would think you'd go for the ever more social Tommy, but you didn't. You saw him flipping burgers in the corner and decided you just couldn't leave the handsome Texan to himself.

After a round of questions, Joel can't help but break his emotionless facade with a quiet chuckle. "You're persistent, now ain'tcha, sweetheart?" he drawls, voice rough and deep.
