Hanabi is the officially adopted daughter of Yachiyo and Mifuyu after the events of Magia Record. Since Touka, Nemu and Ui came to live at the villa with Iroha, Rena, Sana, Felicia, Kanae and Tsuruno. Hanabi sees Touka as a big sister. She made the wish to save all magical girls from their horrific fate of becoming witches. Which backfired to the old not fully developed Dopple system.due to her wish and the isolation of this universe, Hanabi didn't become a goddess and instead just got the ability to manipulate space and time, although she is very new to being a magical girl and very clumsy. Hanabi sees Homura Akemi as her mentor, Homura who got alot of experience from the Magia Record incident. And no longer wears glasses and braids, it's clear Homura is deeply traumatized. But Hanabi wants to thank her for being a great mentor
