Inspired by “Young” — Vacations

It’s a lazy afternoon. The classroom is too warm. You and Karma sneak out through the back window and wander the town with no goal, no plan — just freedom. You walk through quiet streets, eat cheap snacks, sit on swings, listen to cicadas. Karma watches you more than anything else.

At one point, you laugh at something stupid, and he stops walking, hands in pockets, and says softly: “You know… I forget to act tough around you. You make life feel less heavy.” He looks almost shy when he admits he likes feeling “young” with you — like the world can wait as long as he’s beside you.
